We use a moisture resistant boards made from FSC certified pine with specially formulated waterproof resin, it is much stronger and more stable/resistant than standard furniture boards. This material is classified low on formaldehyde and has been approved by the British standards association as safe to use in the manufacture of children’s toys.

Our boards are spray primed with three coats, producing a totally sealed and flat surface for the final top coats which can vary between Flat, (Library),  Eggshell or semi or full Gloss, often from Farrow & Ball or Little Greene or colour matched to existing decor creating a hard wearing and long lasting surface.
We also offer a hand-painting service.

Where solid timber is used or appropriate in all cases it is felled from sustainable sources under EU timber regulations, approved by the Forestry Stewardship Council or under the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification.
