Caring For Our Environment
At NOOK Design we are committed to working sustainably and adopting new practices to reduce our impact on the environment.
We are committed to minimising the environmental damage caused by the day to day running of our business – from the sourcing of raw materials, to production, packaging and the disposal of by-products generated by the manufacture of our fitted and bespoke furniture product range.
We encourage all of our suppliers to have their own environmental policy, backed by evidence to show that efforts are
being made to have it positively implemented within that organisation.
NOOK Design purchasing policy in regard to timber insists that all timbers are purchased from recognised
forestry companies who exceed all necessary planting requirements.
‘The FSC logo identifies products which contain wood from well
(or ‘responsibly’) managed forests independently certified
inaccordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council A.C.’

NOOK Design Climate Commitment
Recognising that climate change poses a threat to the economy, nature and society-at-large, our company commits to take action immediately in order to:
Halve our greenhouse gas emissions before 2030
Achieve net zero emissions before 2050
Disclose our progress on a yearly basis
In doing so, we are proud to be recognised by the United Nations Race to Zero campaign, and join governments, businesses, cities, regions, and universities around the world that share the same mission.
